Consumption Report for a period

The Consumption Report is an essential report for checking the various movements of your products over the period. Along with the GP Report and the Stocktake report, this report should be checked thoroughly by staff at every level at the end of each period.

  • Use the drop-down menus to select the Section/Category/Group and period you wish to view consumption figures for.

  • This report has additional filters that will change the displayed data including:
    • Show only Variances - only products with variances will be shown
    • Filter by value - the report will only display products with variance values over the entered number
      • Values can be entered plainly (6), positively (+6), or negatively (-6) to display relevant figures.
  • Click on the View Report button.
  • A table with the following columns will be displayed:
    • Product -  the name of the product
    • Pack-size - the pack size of that product
    • Unit - the default stock count unit and the unit concerned in the below measurements
    • Op Stock – the opening stock amount in the previous unit
    • Purchase – the purchases of that product
    • Adj – any adjustments made
    • Clo Stock - the closing stock (in the same unit as the opening stock)
    • Actual Cons - the actual consumption of the item according to your stock movement.
    • EPoS - the theoretical consumption of the item according to your EPoS information and STO recipe details.
    • (+/-) - the variance between the two values above
    • Cost - the cost of the variance between actual (Actual Cons) and theoretical consumption (EPos)

  • Category titles will be highlighted GREY.
  • Group titles will be highlighted GREEN.
  • Negative Variances are displayed and bracketed in (red).

  • Rolling stock if enabled will be displayed with a red asterisk (*)
  • The report options bar contains paging-navigation, refresh, searching, and zoom options, as well as exporting to Excel, PDF, and Word, and a print function.
