The Menu Analysis report offers a 4-category breakdown of EPoS sales and recipe GP/cost across multiple periods.

  • Use the Select Sales Category menu to choose a sale category to view.
  • Choose your start and end periods.

  • Click on the View Report button.
  • The table displays the following information:
    • Recipe - name of the recipe
    • Qty Sold - the quantity of the recipe sold within that period
    • EPoS Price - the price of the recipe on the EPoS
    • Cost - the cost of the recipe on Stocktake Online
    • Recipe GP - the gross profit realized from the sale of the recipe
    • EPoS Sales - the sales according to your EPoS
    • Total Cost - the total cost of the quantity of the recipe sold
    • GP Amount - the total Gross profit amount
    • GP % - the gross profit percentage of the recipe sales
    • Notes - Any notes mentioned for the recipe
  • The report is separated into four sections:
    • Popular and Profitable - items which sell well and deliver a good GP
    • Popular and Non Profitable - items that sell well but make less GP
    • Non Popular and Profitable - items that make good GP but do not sell particularly well
    • Non Popular and Non Profitable - items that do not sell well and do not make a good GP
  • Checking this report over large time intervals is recommended as it will be more accurate this way.
  • The report compares items against each other within their respective categories.
  • The report header contains:
    • Location
    • Report Title, Category, and Periods Viewed
    • Period No. & Status. Username, date, and time stamp
  • The report options bar contains paging-navigation, refresh, searching, and zoom options, exporting to Excel, PDF, Word, and a print function.
