Sales by Period

  • Use the drop-down menu to select the start and end periods. Click on View Report to fetch the details.

  • You will be shown a table with several details and clickable dates. Select a date to view sales details for that day.

  • The table contains the following information:
    • PLU – short for price look-up, this is the code for the recipe on your EPoS.
    • Recipe Name – name for the recipe.
    • Sales Date – date the sale was made.
    • Qty Sold – amount of the recipe sold.
    • EPOS SP – EPoS sale price.
    • Recipe SP – recipe sale price.
    • Gross Amount – gross for sales (QTY x EPoS SP).
    • Net Amount – net for sales (gross – tax).
    • Total Cost – total for the cost of the recipe.
    • Gross Profit – profit from sales (Net – Cost).
    • GP Percent – Gross Profit as a percentage (Gross profit / Net Amount x 100).
    • Cost/Unit – cost per unit of the recipe.
    • Theo sales – theoretical sales according to the EPoS Sale price (QTY x EPOS SP – Tax).
    • Var – variance between theoretical sales and the net amount.
  • Totals will be shown for each day across several columns as well as overall at the bottom of the report.
  • Where EPoS SP and Recipe SP are different, this will be highlighted in red where the Recipe Sales Price is larger than the EPoS Sales Price. This will be highlighted in blue where the EPoS SP is larger than the Recipe SP.

  • If you would like to view the information in a .CSV format, click on Export.
  • Clicking Print will show you an easy-to-read page for printing.
