▶️Adding a new Product

How to add a product:

Click on Add Products - left side menu:

You will get two options:

1. Add full product with package - This option allows you to add products with supplier details.

2. Add only product header - This option allows you to add only the product name and category.

Select Add full product with package to add a product:

It will direct you to add a product page. Click on save and you will see mandatory fields, which you need to fill to save a product.

Mandatory Details

1. Product: Fill in the product’s name.
2. Product Category: Choose a relevant category from the drop-down menu for the product.
3. Select Supplier: Select the supplier from which you will order that product.
4. Pack-size: Enter the product’s packaging size.
5. Net Price: Enter the product net cost and select the size of the packaging for that cost.
6. Tax: Enter tax % for the product.
7. Default Count: Default (Stock) Count is the unit in which you will count the product during a stocktake.
8. Default Usage: Default (product) Usage is the unit in which you will create the recipe for that product on the system.
9. Default Order: Default Order is the unit in which you will order that product from the supplier.

 Optional details to fill

• Picture: You can add a picture of the product [Resolution should be less than 3 MB]
• Bin number: Rack number where you will place the product in the restaurant.
• Product Store: If you have multiple rooms or refrigerators, you can create stores and allocate products to those stores, which will ease your stock-take. [Example – Fridge 1, Fridge 2, Room 1, Room 2 etc.]
• Product Code: Code for that product from the supplier
• Minimum Order Qty: Minimum order quantity that you will set for the product, this will be shown on the order page while placing an order for this product.
• Par Level: Minimal stock level to maintain for this product.
• Add Supplier: You can add another supplier to the same product, in case if this product is not available with supplier 1, you can order it from supplier 2.

• Pen Icon: You can add one more pack-size to the same supplier by clicking on pen icon next to supplier name.

Click on save and your new product can now be found in the product list.

To add a similar product, you must create a new one from scratch; there is no shortcut for duplicating.
