Adjustment Types Setup

Adjustment Types can be set up or modified from Setup > Other Setups > Adjustment Types Setup.

Adjustment Types are the reasons used when recording an adjustment into the system. Common examples include:

  • STOCK CORRECTION
  •  WASTAGE
  • STAFF FOOD
  • PROMOTION

Your adjustment types should have been added during the setup phase but if you need to add new ones or edit the current types of adjustment, follow the instructions below.

  • You will be shown two tables detailing the current adjustment types (if any) and the descriptions for them (if any).
  • Inward adjustments will be shown on the left; Outward adjustments will be shown on the right.
  • To add a new adjustment, click on the Add Adjustments button on either the Inward or Outward table.
  • Two new fields will appear:
    1. Inward (or Outward) Adjustment Types.
    2. Inward (or Outward) Adjustment Description.

  • Types must be filled in, description is optional. When you are ready, click the Save button. Note that you can archive/retrieve any Adjustment type at any time by clicking Archive/Retrieve against the respective adjustment type.

  • If you wish to edit one of the current adjustment types, simply click on Edit to the left of any of the current adjustment types. Change the information accordingly and click Save.
