Consumption report

The Consumption Report is one of your go-to reports involved in end-of-period procedures.

  • Use the drop-down menus to select your Period, Section, and Category to view.

  • This report has additional filters which will change the displayed data including:
    • Show Closing Stock - only product with closing stock will be shown
    • Show Consumption - only products with consumption will be shown
    • Show only Variances - only products with variances will be shown
    • Numerical filters
      • Filter by value - the report will only display products with variance values over the entered number
      • Filter by percent -the report will only display products with variance percentages over the entered number
    • Values can be entered plainly (6), positively (+6) or negatively (-6) to display relevant figures
  • Click on the View Report button.
  • A table with the following information will be displayed:
    • Category - the category the product is located in
    • Product - the name of the product
    • Pack-size - the pack size of this product
    • Count Unit - the unit the product has stock counted in
    • Op Qty – the opening stock quantity of the product
    • Pur Qty - the purchased quantity of the product
    • Adj Qty - any adjustments to the product
    • Clo Qty - the closing stock quantity of the product
    • Act Cons - the actual consumption of the product according to the stock movement (OP + Pur + Adj - Clo)
    • Theo Cons - the theoretical consumption of the product according to the EPoS
    • Variance Qty - the quantity of the variance between actual and theoretical consumption
    • Variance Amt – the value of the variance quantity
  • Rolling Stock is highlighted with a red asterisk (*).

  • If you would like to view the information in a .CSV format, click on Export.
  • Clicking Print will show you an easy-to-read page for printing.
