Unlinked Sales Follow
The Unlinked Sales report is an excellent resource for tidying up your recipe list and ensuring your sales information is accurate.
If sales are lower than POS/Till/EPOS figures, it may be due to unlinked sales. These can be linked using the unlinked sales report on the home page.
- Use the calendar menus to select Start and End dates for your report.
- Click on the View Details button.
- A table will be shown displaying the following information:
- PLU - short for price look-up, often called EPoS ID, Item UPC, etc. This is the unique code for the button on your EPoS, which is used to link the recipe on STO.
- EPoS Item – name of the item sold according to your EPoS.
- Sales Date - the date of that sale.
- EPoS Price – the gross value for the item(s) sold according to your EPoS.
- QTY – the amount of the item sold.
- Gross Sales – the gross amount of item(s) sold.
- Tax – the tax amount on those sales.
- Net Sales – the amount made after tax deductions.
- Quick Add will bring up the recipe creation screen, allowing you to add a recipe to a product without one.
- If you would like to view the information in a .CSV format, click on Export to Excel.
After fetching the report, check the recipe in the existing list to see if it exists, but the PLU is missing. Use Quick Update under Recipes for adding missing PLU. If the recipe is missing, use Quick Add to add it. Once linked, reimport sales to ensure accurate numbers.
Please note that in a multi-location database divided by sections, cross-section item sales appear at all locations, which is normal. However, sales are linked to their respective locations. For example, wine recipe sales show in the unlinked sales report at the Food location, and vice versa. This does not affect the accuracy of any location's reports.
