Updating product prices can be handled in a number of different ways through Stocktake Online:

The Update Prices option lets you update your product prices in one of two ways:

  • By Supplier option will present you with a drop-down supplier selection menu and a search bar.

  • Use the drop-down menu to select a supplier.
  • The table displayed contains:
    • Product - the name of the product.
    • Pack-Size - the pack-size of the product.
    • Current Price - the current System Price of that item.
    • Per Unit - the current cost unit of that item.
    • Update Price - an editable field where you can enter a new price.
    • Update Unit - an editable drop-down where you can select a new cost unit. This will default to the current cost unit associated with the product information.
  • You can use the search bar to narrow down the list.
    • Please be aware, there is no paging on this menu and the entire product list from that supplier will be displayed.
  • To change your price:
    • Enter the new price in the Update Price field.
    • Use the Update Unit drop-down if necessary.
    • This page is an autosave page - no need to click on a save button.
  • After saving a new price the page will refresh and display the new price highlighted in green.

 

  • Alternatively, by Product Group will bring you to a similar screen where you can select products by their categories rather than by supplier and update prices as above. Supplier names against the products will be displayed as well in this option.

Any changes you make here will be reflected across the entire system, for example in recipes and orders.
