Line Count

The Stocktake page now has the additional feature of a date-based Line Count. This is designed to facilitate spot checks or stocktakes outside of the normal Periods structure. For example, a mid-week count of Spirit bottles. 

• On the Stocktake page, select the Line Count option.

• The page functions in the same way as the normal stocktake page, but in this case, the stock is entered by date rather than by period.

• Any stock entered on the Line Count page will be retained there for future reference.

Line Count Reports

To make use of the Line Count feature there are two relevant reports:

• Line count for selected date
• Theoretical vs linecount on selected date

• Line Count for selected date will simply display your entered line count information.

• Theoretical vs linecount on selected date will allow users to check variances between their theoretical stock counts and their entered line counts.
