STO Update 29th June'24

Dear Stocktake Online Users,

As you will undoubtedly know, Stocktake Online is a constantly evolving system. We always strive to improve our software and service, incorporating ideas from the hospitality industry and you, our users. In listening to feedback from various sources, we find improvements to be made and tweaks to implement. 

Please take a look at the following notes on the changes we have made and the new features we have added and as always, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or would like any extra information on the changes to Stocktake Online.

Update includes:

• Add reference number (credit note) in supplier return.
• Include order prefix in order number.
• Unit price edit option in product supplier return.
• Overall Total on accept delivery page.

Add reference number (credit note) in supplier return

We have added a dedicated field for maintaining supplier return (CRN) reference numbers for product or delivery returns. The same reference will also be visible for the reports for easy tracing.

Include order prefix in order number

We can add order prefix in the order reference in the setup for multiplication databases using the same SMTP server, this way suppliers will be easily able to identify the exact location for the delivery. Order prefix can be setup up to 6 alpha-numeric characters.

To set up the order prefix, go to Setup > System Setups > Location Setup

Once the settings are saved, the order reference for all the orders from the location will have the set prefix. Below is the sample:-

Please note, that it needs to be set up from the web however once done order reference will have the prefix on both the web & app.

Unit price edit option in product supplier return

Users can now place a return of a product at a different price than the delivery price if needed however this needs to be done only via the product return option under Returns.

For Supplier returns from a specific delivery, the return price will be automatically considered the same as the delivery price.

Overall Total on accept delivery page

An additional field of "Overall Total" has been added on the page while accepting delivery which will be the total of delivery prices & delivery charges if any.
