Introducing your new best friend, Review Bot! He's here to help you solve your end of period problems.

  • Click the Bot option next to the Home button on the STO Header menu.

  • The ReviewBot page will open and begin.

  • Simply click Yes or No to let him know you'd like his help, and he'll analyse your last closed period reports to highlight three different common problems:
    • Products with closing stock, without opening or purchases
    • Sales without purchases or opening stock
    • Opening stock and purchases less than closing stock

  • The Bot will display the top 10 items with that particular issue.
  • If there are more than 10 items in that category, you can click on the View More... option to open a new page with the complete list.

 

Products with closing stock, without opening or purchases

This results means that there are products that have a closing stock without any previous opening stock or purchases, indicating the closing stock results appeared from an unknown source.

This may be a result of:

  • Missed Opening Stock Count
  • Incorrect Stock Count
  • Missed / Incorrect Delivery
  • Missed Adjustment / Transfer

 

Sales without purchases or opening stock

This indicates these items are present in recipes which have been recorded as sold, despite a lack of opening stock or any purchases.

This may be a result of:

  • Missed Opening Stock Count
  • Missed / Incorrect Delivery
  • Missed Adjustment / Transfer
  • Recipe sold incorrectly
  • Recipe ingredients require updating

 

 

Opening stock and purchases less than closing stock

This means that these items have amounts of opening stock and / or purchases but that the amount they add up to is smaller than the closing stock. This means stock has increased from an unknown source.

This may be a result of:

  • Incorrect Stock Count (Opening or Closing)
  • Missed / Incorrect Delivery
  • Missed Adjustment / Transfer
