STO Update 6th August 2023

Dear Stocktake Online Users,

As you will no doubt be aware, Stocktake Online is a constantly evolving system. We are always striving to improve our software and service, incorporating ideas from the hospitality industry and you, our users. In listening to feedback from various sources, we find improvements to be made and tweaks to implement. 

Please read the following notes on the changes we have made and the new features we have added and as always, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or would like any extra information on the changes to Stocktake Online.

Today’s Update includes:

• Create Order Request & Order Request List
• Transfer feature added in the app version
• Optional Order Unit added in the app version

Create Order Request & Order Request List

This feature can be used to create an order template without linking a supplier. Order templates created this way can be used to place orders at a later stage by the respective authority after selecting the supplier & confirming the order from Order Request List.

Transfer feature for the app

Three options are added under the Transfer feature in the app namely Request Transfer, Accept Transfer & Execute Transfer. This can be accessed by clicking on More from the lower right corner if it is not visible under My favourite list.

Request Transfer is for requesting stock from other locations, this needs to be done at the destination location(Transfer IN). Execute Transfer is for approving the requested stock, this needs to be done at the source location(Transfer OUT). Once the transfer request is approved & stocks are delivered, the destination location will have to Accept Transfer.

The transfer process is the same as it was done for the web version.

Optional Order Unit for the app

The order creation process from the app will now have the optional order unit as one of the parameters same as the web version. This can be used while selecting item qty. It can be set for any product from the web version.
