STO Update 30th June '25
Dear Stocktake Online Users,
As you will undoubtedly know, Stocktake Online is a constantly evolving system. We always strive to improve our software and service, incorporating ideas from the hospitality industry and you, our users. In listening to feedback from various sources, we find improvements to be made and tweaks to implement.
Please take a look at the following notes on the changes we have made and the new features we have added, and as always, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or would like any extra information on the changes to Stocktake Online.
Update includes:
- Foreign language support for the product name
- Edit the Batch output unit for the unused batches
- Currency conversion feature
- Search option in manual sales
Foreign language support for the product name
Clients will now have the option to add products in a foreign language, if required. They can contact the STO Support Team to enable this feature.
Edit the Batch output unit for the unused batches
If a batch is not used in any recipe and no inventory has been recorded against it, its output unit can be modified. This allows users to correct mistakes in the selected output unit without needing to recreate the batch.
Currency conversion feature
Clients accessing enterprise reports will now have the option to view reports in alternate currencies based on their operational needs. To enable this feature, they must contact the STO Support Team. Once enabled, navigate to Setup > Period Currency Conversion Setup > Period Currency Conversion.
They need to enter the conversion rate, and the data will be saved automatically. For example, 1 Dirham = 1.02 Saudi Riyal
The GP Report will continue to reflect values in the registered currency based on the location setup (Dirham in this example).
The Enterprise GP Report will display the same figures in the converted currency (Saudi Riyal in this example).
Please note that currency conversion operates independently for each location in the database. Any changes will apply only to the specific location where the conversion is configured.
Search option in manual sales
Clients without sales integration who manually enter sales data into the database will now be able to filter and select recipes directly using the search field while adding sales entries.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or would like any extra information on the changes to Stocktake Online.
