Dear Stocktake Online Users,

As you will undoubtedly know, Stocktake Online is a constantly evolving system. We always strive to improve our software and service, incorporating ideas from the hospitality industry and you, our users. In listening to feedback from various sources, we find improvements to be made and tweaks to implement. 

Please take a look at the following notes on the changes we have made and the new features we have added, and as always, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or would like any extra information on the changes to Stocktake Online.

Update includes:

• Theoretical stock visibility in the stock take
• Allow tax Modification on Accept Delivery
• Multiple unit selection for stock count
• Pending transfer report - notification
• Delivery charges, Standing Order & Consumption with line count custom reports

Theoretical stock visibility in the stock take

Theoretical Stock refers to the system-calculated stock quantity based on recorded purchases, sales, transfers, and wastage. Theoretical stock visibility during in-house counting enables the quick identification of discrepancies between expected and actual stock, thereby improving accuracy and accountability. It streamlines reconciliation, reduces errors, and supports better inventory control and planning. This option must be enabled under Setup > Location Setup.

Allow tax Modification on Accept Delivery

Tax modification while accepting deliveries is now possible once enabled under Setup > Location setup. Just so you know, tax modification is allowed only while accepting deliveries; once the delivery is closed, the field can't be modified at a later stage.

Multiple unit selection for stock count

Users can now modify the count unit of products during inventory recording, if required. Please note that this functionality must be enabled from the backend by reaching out to our support team.

Pending transfer report - notification

Users can now receive daily notifications for all pending transfers related to the locations they have access to. These notifications are sent at 4:00 AM GMT and must be enabled in the user's notification rights under User Management.

Delivery charges, Standing Order & Consumption with line count custom reports

If required, users can contact our support team to have custom reports added to their database under the Data Export section. Below is the summary of the reports:-

Delivery Charges:- These reports include delivery data along with any added delivery charges and can be downloaded in Excel format.

Standing Order:-  Users have the flexibility to generate this report either for a specific supplier or for all suppliers, depending on their reporting requirements. This allows for a more targeted analysis when focusing on individual supplier performance, or a broader view when assessing overall delivery activity.

Consumption with line count

This report can also be reviewed for livestock, taking into account the line count—if applicable—for the selected category.
