STO Update 21st May 2023
Dear Stocktake Online Users,
As you will no doubt be aware, Stocktake Online is a constantly evolving system. We are always striving to improve our software and service, incorporating ideas from the hospitality industry and you, our users. In listening to feedback from various sources, we find improvements to be made and tweaks to implement.
Please read the following notes on the changes we have made and the new features we have added and as always, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or would like any extra information on the changes to Stocktake Online.
Today’s Update includes:
- Modifying Batch Grouping
- Visibility of product codes while adding product on Accept Delivery page.
- Default Optional order unit.
Modifying Batch Grouping
For changing Group for any Batch, please follow the below steps: -
Go to Quick Update under Products. Select the Section & the batch Category. Product groups can be modified using the dropdown against the respective batch. Please note groups for linked batches cannot be modified.

Visibility of product codes while adding product on Accept Delivery page
Users can now view Product codes along with product names while adding a new item using Add Order Item option on an Accept Delivery page.
Kindly note product codes will be visible only if they are added under the respective product & available in the system. Product code can be added/modified anytime by opening the product from the list & editing the product.

Default Optional order unit
Optional order unit for any product can now be made default & available at the top while placing an order for the respective product.

To enable this, Go to Setup > Location Setup > Other Settings & tick the checkbox against “Enable Optional Order Unit On Top”. It can be done only by admin users or the user with the setup access.
